Major Mosquito Format
1. As there are nine teams participating, there will be two divisions of four and five teams each. 2. All teams are guaranteed three games weather permitting with the one team, St. Anthonys Angels, playing a fourth game to balance the schedule. Following the final game of the round robin, the tournament convener will randomly remove one of St. Anthonys four games by drawing from a hat. St. Anthonys will count three games in the standings, like the other eight teams. 3. Despite only having 3 of their 4 games count for placement, all St. Anthonys pitching records will be used. 4. In the event of head-to-head tiebreakers only, all games will be considered. In tiebreaking scenarios that are not head-to-head only the designated three games will count. 5. In the five-team division only St. Anthonys will play the other four-teams. The other teams will play three of the four teams in their division. 6. The top teams in each division will advance of the semi-final round with the division winners ranked as either 1st or 2nd based on the rules below. The two next best teams from the two divisions will be ranked as the 1st and 2nd wild card (WC) teams. 7. For the semi-final, the 1st ranked division winner will play the 2nd ranked wild card team. The 2nd ranked division winner will play the 1st ranked wild card team. 8. The winners of the semi-final will play each other in a final game. 9. In all play-off round games, the top ranked teams will be the home team. There is no time limit on play-off games.
