Friend Request Policy

The League wants all players to enjoy their experience in Baseball.   Sports is a great opportunity to make new friends and meet new people.  However we recognize that having a friend on the team or for transportation purposes can help a player where there is a special need.

Coaches and Convenors will try to honor friend requests within the boundaries of program objectives and definitions but has no obligation to do so.  Our first objective when selecting teams is to have fair and balanced play.

The following guidelines will be used when assessing friend requests:

  • One friend request is allowed per child.  Requests for multiple players will not be satisfied.
  • A friend request will only be considered if it’s reciprocal (A requests B and B requests A.)
  • Friend requests across tiers or divisions will not be considered, players must play within their division.
