Registration for Summer Programs is Open

Jun. 12, 2024

Registration is now open for our summer baseball season that runs in July and August.

Program Description

Summer programs run through the months of July and August (2 months). The regular season of game-play generally includes 10-12 games over 6 weeks plus playoffs. Teams will generally play 2 games per week and may have one practice per week, though some coaches may schedule additional field times. All teams will play interlock games against other teams from across the National Capital Region. All divisions are co-ed, open to all players within the relevant age groups.

  • All teams will be playing in the Ottawa Area Little League summer interlock program.
    • Rules documents can be found on d2llontario.ca
    • All teams will play one home game (in Kanata) and one away game (which could be anywhere in the region) each week.
    • Because each league has different field allocations, games can be on any night of the week.
  • Because the number of teams is less than Spring Ball, friend requests are not typically collected. Specific needs/requests may be submitted to the division convener.
  • 8U/Rookie Ball - Reminder that this is a Coach/Parent Pitch league.

Equipment and Uniforms

All players must supply their own baseball glove and batting helmet. Players should wear appropriate athletic footwear and clothing for baseball activities, baseball pants are highly recommended. A jock or jill is required.  Players with their own legal-for-division-play baseball bats are encouraged to bring them. Uniforms (jersey, cap) will be distributed for interlock play (some jerseys are loaners while other divisions keep their jersey. Caps are always kept by the player)
